Welcome to my Blogsite!

The reason I started to blog was that I felt someone, somewhere may have answers to my specific questions and at the same time, someone, somewhere may find some answers here.

First let me discuss a real tough one. What motivates one to do more in life? Simple answer is ambition. But I have been through that. Never felt its call. In fact, to the contrary, felt ambition could bring disappointment, envy, greed and other unwanted side effects and hence, never lit the fire in the belly. Just floated along. Now I find it hard to stay motivated. I would rather just Stop and Go Home – wherever that is.

Life, however, does not allow us to do that. We have ‘responsibilities’. Bills to pay. So we just shut up and carry on. Just a wild yell into the beyond, anyone out there who truly loves life? I mean who is content with the small interludes of happiness it provides in what seems like endless drudgery.

As I write this, I feel fear that even this may get taken away from me for not being grateful. Badly need a belief. I have nullified the concept of a thinking feeling God to a force. This has led me into the ground where I think nothing or nobody is in charge. Is there really anybody out there who can respond to this discussion? Somebody who will not make me join a group or a religion to understand?

The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation. - Henry David Thoreau

something aboput ambition, it is not a dirty word at all, it indeed motivates one, while it may bring in greed, envy, disappoinment etc, it alls brings in the joy, the happiness to be able to contribute to and make a difference to others life, it brings in magnanimity, it brings in tolerance and humility when you have realised your ambition. It all depends on what we want to see, it about choice and that is something we only have and which no one can take it from us.So one does not have to join a group or a religion as long as one has faith in himself, so one has to start with oneself. Lastly one cannot experience life if one does not accept responsibilities, for we are not alone in this world... anup
